Exports and API

Get your certificate data out

Every certificate you upload can leave COISoftware as a file or, on the Pro plan, as JSON over a REST API. You keep the extracted fields, the coverage table and the compliance status, and you decide where they go next.

One-click export

Download a batch as Excel, CSV or JSON straight from the results screen. Files on a paid plan are clean; demo files carry a watermark line.

REST API

On the Pro plan, POST a certificate, start the extraction, then read the result as JSON: every field, the coverage table row by row, and a status that tells you when it is finished.

API tokens

Create a token in your account settings and give it the upload-documents, extract-data and view-extractions permissions. API access is part of the Pro plan.

What comes out of COISoftware

Excel (XLSX)

One row per certificate with the coverage lines, insurer, policy numbers, effective and expiration dates and limits, on a Summary sheet.

CSV

The same table as a plain comma-separated file, for anything that imports a spreadsheet.

JSON

Every extracted field and every table row as structured JSON, for a script or a data pipeline.

Compliance report (XLSX)

Insured, certificate holder, insurers, coverages, earliest expiration, status, compliance and the gaps against your requirement set.

What we do not have

No pre-built connectors

COISoftware does not sign in to Procore, Yardi, AppFolio, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Salesforce or any other system, and it does not push data into them on its own. There is no connector marketplace and no OAuth app to install. Anything that reaches another system gets there through a file you download or through a call your own code makes to our API.

We say this plainly because the difference matters when you are choosing a tool. If you need data inside another system automatically, plan for a small amount of work on your side, or talk to us first.

What you can build on this

  • A scheduled import into a vendor-management or GRC system from the CSV.
  • A compliance sheet your team refreshes and shares from the XLSX report.
  • Your own service that posts certificates and stores the JSON it gets back.

Tell us where the data has to land

If your system imports a CSV or an Excel file, or if it can call an API, COISoftware fits alongside it. Tell us what the other end expects and we will tell you honestly whether it works today.
